Ms. Nezer began serving as Deputy Director General, Industries and Licensing since 2010. During her term she has been responsible for: air pollution, climate change, hazardous materials, noise and radiation, industrial wastewater, land contamination, asbestos and business licensing.
Prior to assuming this role (1999-2010), Ms. Nezer served as a Director in the Air Quality and Climate Change Department in the Ministry. In that capacity she led the determination and implementation of national air quality and climate change policy. She also helped develop the legislations and regulations to limit and reduce air pollution in order to protect public health and the environment.
Between the years 1996-1999, Ms. Nezer served as a project coordinator in the Ministry. Her responsibilities were to coordinate professional projects in the field of hazardous materials and industries.
Ms. Nezer obtained her B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from the Ben Gurion University as well as her M.Sc in Environmental Engineering. In addition to that, Ms. Nezer received her Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University.
